Nalbandyan invites Georgia’s president to visit Armenia

Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan who attended, together with the minister of energy and natural resources Armen Movsisyan, the inauguration of Georgia’s president Georgy Margvelashvili Sunday invited him to visit Armenia, the press office of Armenian foreign ministry reported.
YEREVAN, November 18. /ARKA/. Armenia’s foreign minister Edward Nalbandyan who attended, together with the minister of energy and natural resources Armen Movsisyan, the inauguration of Georgia’s president Georgy Margvelashvili Sunday invited him to visit Armenia, the press office of Armenian foreign ministry reported.
Nalbandyan also gave Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan’s congratulations to Margvelashvili after the inaugural ceremony.
Margvelashvili expressed satisfaction with high level of Armenia-Georgia relations and confidence mutual efforts may further develop them.
The sides discussed Armenia-Georgia relations, economic cooperation and issues related to forthcoming meeting of the intergovernmental commission, interparliamentary ties and Georgian Armenians.
Nalbandyan and Movsisyan also met with Georgia’s premier Bidzina Ivanishvili and discussed implementation of agreements reached between the two countries’ leaders.
Armenian ambassador to Georgia Hovhannes Manukyan participated in the meeting.
Nalbandyan met also with his Georgian counterpart Maya Panjikidze and exchanged views on a number of issues of the bilateral agenda on the same day. –0--
