Over $7.5 million donated to Nagorno-Karabakh government

About 3.3 billion Armenian drams (about $7.5 million) have been donated so far by some 4,200 private persons and companies to the government of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
YEREVAN, April 20. /ARKA/. About 3.3 billion Armenian drams (about $7.5 million) have been donated so far by some 4,200 private persons and companies to the government of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic. On April 19 alone some 147 million drams (about $304,200) were transferred to a special account opened for the government of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The government said the entire amount will be used to further strengthen the fighting efficiency of the defense army. It also thanked all benefactors, assuring that every donated dram is essential in ensuring the safety of Artsakh.(the Armenian name for Nagorno-Karabakh).
A POS-terminal has been created for the official website of the government that can be used to make online donations via Visa, MasterCard and ArCa cards. The special account is opened at JSC Artsakh Bank.
