Tourist flow to Armenia increased by approximately 39.6% in April, exceeding 170,000 people

In April 2026, 172,705 tourists visited Armenia compared to 123,705 in April 2025, an increase of 39.6%, the RA Tourism Committee reported.
YEREVAN, May 12. /ARKA/. In April 2026, 172,705 tourists visited Armenia compared to 123,705 in April 2025, an increase of 39.6%, the RA Tourism Committee reported.
According to the agency, 625,843 tourists visited Armenia in January-April this year, compared to 510,446 in the same period last year, an increase of 22.6%.
Moreover, over the four months, the largest number of tourists arrived in Armenia from Russia – 245,178 (36% of the total), followed by Georgia – 93,123 (14%) and Iran – 48,450 (7%). On May 7, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced a tourism boom in Armenia, with tourist arrivals up 39% in April.
For the entire year of 2025, more than 2.26 million tourist visits were recorded, compared to 2.21 million the previous year (an increase of 2.5%).
