According to the press service of the Armenian government, Pashinyan is in Paris to participate in the first International Space Summit.
The parties also discussed prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation in the space sector. Pashinyan stated that Armenia is interested in a more substantive partnership with France in this area.
The interlocutors emphasized the Armenian government's consistent steps to diversify the economy. At the meeting, it was also noted that construction of the Bargushat tunnel has entered the practical phase. Pashinyan and Macron emphasized the importance of starting construction as soon as possible.
The French President emphasized the essential importance of consistently developing bilateral relations in all areas in accordance with the Armenian-French declaration on strategic cooperation.
Pashinyan and Macron also discussed regional developments, noting the importance of consistently implementing steps aimed at strengthening peace.
