YEREVAN, December 18. /ARKA/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the delivery of the first batch of petroleum products from Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijani media reported that 22 railcars of AI-95 gasoline produced by SOCAR will be shipped to Armenia on December 18. It was noted that the delivery of petroleum products is "exclusively commercial in nature" and is carried out "at prices consistent with international market prices."

"Trade takes place between private companies, but it was the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan that created the political conditions for this trade. Of course, there were agreements at the political level as well," Pashinyan noted at a briefing on Thursday.

According to him, business circles in both countries will be informed about this, and if there is interest, they will conclude deals.-0-
