Pashinyan and Tsarukyan met to discuss further steps

The leader of the Armenian opposition protest movement Nikol Pashinyan met April 25 with the head of the Prosperous Armenia Party Gagik Tsarukyan, which has the second largest faction in the parliament.

Pashinyan said on his Facebook page that Tsarukyan and he discussed the current situation and possible solutions, saying also there will be more such discussions.
In a related development the local daily Hraparak says Gagik Tsarukyan told his team to support the candidacy of Nikol Pashinyan for the post of prime minister.
"I am ready to help ensure that Nichol become prime minister, if the people make such a decision, we must fulfill it," Tsarukyan is quoted by the daily as saying. -0-
