YEREVAN, February 19. /ARKA/. An approximate date of Pope Francis’ visit to Armenia was pronounced at an assembly of the supreme council of the Armenian Apostolic Church.

According to the press office of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin, the pope will travel to Armenia in September 2016.

“The Holy Echmiadzin is in touch with Vatican for organizing the visit,” the press release says.
