Russian and Armenian presidents Vladimir Putin and Serzh Sargsyan visited the Monument of Armenian Genocide Victims in Tsitsernakaberd, Yerevan.

YEREVAN, December 2. /ARKA/. Russian and Armenian presidents Vladimir Putin and Serzh Sargsyan visited the Monument of Armenian Genocide Victims in Tsitsernakaberd, Yerevan.

They paid floral tribute to 1.5 million Armenians killed by Ottomans in 2015 and paused to commemorate them.

A military orchestra performed the two countries’ anthems.

The Russian president is now in Yerevan at his Armenian counterpart’s invitation for an official visit. ---0----
