Rafik Grigoryan appointed as Gegharkunik’s governor

Republican Deputy Rafik Grigoryan is appointed as a Governor of Gegharkunik province of Armenia.
YEREVAN, June 28. /ARKA/. Republican Deputy Rafik Grigoryan is appointed as a Governor of Gegharkunik province of Armenia.The decision was reached on Thursday at the Cabinet meeting. Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan congratulated Grigoryan on the appointment and wished him success.
Grigoryan held a position of Deputy Governor of Gegharkunik province in 1999-2003, and –parliamentary deputy since 2003.
On early June Governors of Vayots Dzor and Gegharkunik provinces Sergey Bagratyan and Never Poghosyan were released from their posts. Both of them are members of Prosperous Armenia Party.
On May 24 the leader of Prosperous Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan declared that the party doesn’t have any constitutional opportunity to form the Cabinet and to implement its programs, thereby there is no need in joining the coalition government. —0—
