Russia's government has approved a draft protocol implying deployment of Russia's military base in Armenia.
YEREVAN, February 4. /ARKA/. Russia's government has approved a draft protocol implying deployment of Russia's military base in Armenia. The document is available on the appropriate portal of legal information.
The document instructs the Russian defense and foreign affairs ministries to conduct talks with Armenia and upon receiving necessary consent from the Armenian side to sign the mentioned protocol on the behalf of the Russian government, Novosti-Armenia reports referring to RIA Novosti.
Under the protocol, Russia will return a military compound in Hatsik village, and Armenia will provide two other military compounds to Russia. The Russian military base will be deployed on 21 compounds' territories. -0---
