Russian premier may visit Armenia in September

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is expected to visit Armenia in early September, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said Monday as met with participants of the youth jamboree Baze-2014 in Tsakhkadzor .

YEREVAN, August 19./ARKA/. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is expected to visit Armenia in early September, Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan said Monday as met with participants of the youth jamboree Baze-2014 in Tsakhkadzor .
He said the Russian premier would arrive in Yerevan on September 8 or 9.
“We made a preliminary arrangement when I traveled to Russia recently,” Abrahamyan said.
The premier also said he intended to meet with his Georgian and Iranian counterparts.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili will come here on August 21 for an official visit, and on September 15 Abrahamyan will travel to Iran, Novosti-Armenia reports referring to RIA Novosti.
“These countries are very important for our economy – there are many projects connected with Russia, Iran and Georgia,” he said. --0----
