Two Karabakh soldiers killed in fighting with Azeri commandos

Nagorno-Karabakh armed forces said today they repelled another attack by Azerbaijani commandos on December 18 overnight in four directions, saying also two of their soldiers were killed in the battle.

YEREVAN, December 18. /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh armed forces said today they repelled another attack by Azerbaijani commandos on December 18 overnight in four directions, saying also two of their soldiers were killed in the battle.
They are Aghasi Grigoryan (born in 1996) and Ruben Alexanyan (born in 1996), the Nagorno-Karabakh defense ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, Karabakh Armenian forces detected Azeri commandoes in due time moving to defensive operations. As a result Azerbaijani commandoes were pushed back suffering heavy losses.
The day before, on December 17, another servicemen of Karabakh defense army, Gor Ohanyan, (born in 1992) was deadly wounded.
"The Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry shares the grief of these losses and extends its condolences to the families of the killed soldiers, their families and colleagues," the ministry said in the statement.
"The provocative actions of the enemy will not go unpunished. The answer will be painful and full of irreversible losses", it added. -0-
