Vladimir Hakobyan appointed new press secretary for Armenian president

Vladimir Hakobyan has been appointed today as press secretary for Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan.
YEREVAN, July 18. / ARKA /. Vladimir Hakobyan has been appointed today as press secretary for Armenian president Serzh Sargsyan.
He has replaced Arman Saghatelyan who was relieved of his job by the president. Saghatelyan said earlier today he resigns because of taking up a job in a private company to promote business projects.
Vladimir Hakobyan was born in 1982. He is a graduate of the department of radio journalism of Khachatur Abovyan State Pedagogical University. After the graduation he served in the Armenian armed forces in 2003-2005.
From 2006 to 2015 July 17 he worked with the National Security Service. His latest position was head of a unit at the Main Directorate. In 2013 he was awarded by the president the Medal of Battle Service. -0-
