A wreath was laid to honor the victims of the 1915 Armenian genocide at the Eternal Flame in Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Monument.
YEREVAN, April 24. /ARKA/. A wreath was laid to honor the victims of the 1915 Armenian genocide at the Eternal Flame in Tsitsernakaberd Genocide Monument.
Armenia’s national anthem was sung after the wreath laying ceremony, by Tigran Hekekyan’s ‘Little Singers of Armenia’ choir.
The ceremony was attended by Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan and his wife Rita Sargsyan, the Russian President Vladimir Putin, president of France Francois Hollande, President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic and President of Cypurs Nikas Anastasiadis.
There are currently representatives from more than 40 countries, government officials, lawmakers, ambassadors, and staffs of international organizations at Tsitsernakabed Genocide Monument. –0--
