The Government of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) made a decision this week to allocate some 24mln drams for treatment of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, the press service of the NKR Government reports.

YEREVAN, July 17. /ARKA/. The Government of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) made a decision this week to allocate some 24mln drams for treatment of cardiovascular diseases and diabetes, the press service of the NKR Government reports.

For this purpose, the NKr Government will buy Noliprel and Prestarium Combi, m effective medications prevailing nowadays in the treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.

The NKR Healthcare Minister Armen Khachatryan said the number of diabetics and heart sufferers increased by 30% in Karabakh last year. “Our objective is to reduce the risk of these diseases,” he added.

The Minister stressed the importance of fighting untimely death. The healthcare ministers of Karabakh and Armenia discussed this issue during their recent meeting. ($1 – 303.91 drams). –0--
