YEREVAN, May 26, /ARKA/. Armenian education and science minister Armen Ashotian said after a visit to Tehran that Iran will recognize diplomas of three Armenian universities-namely the Yerevan State University, the Yerevan State Medical University and the Yerevan State Engineering University.

The minister was in Iran to discuss with Iranian colleagues expansion of bilateral cooperation in this area.

Speaking to journalists Ashotain said Iranian education officials are due in Armenia to discuss related issues with management of the three mentioned universities. He said Armenia and Iran will try to sign a relevant agreement before the start of another academic year which begins in September. -0-
