There are 663 confirmed cases of infection with COVID 19 in Armenia as of April 2, the Armenian health ministry’s National Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports on its website. This means that 91 new cases have been confirmed in the country since yesterday’s report.

The Armenian government has declared a state of emergency in the country from March 16 to April 14 in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. Movement restrictions are among the measures taken to curb the spread of the virus. Restrictions are also imposed on some kinds of economic activities. -0---
There are 33 cured people and four dead patients in Armenia. Some 626 people are being treated in hospital.
