The new concept of Armenia’s education policy aims to ensure effectiveness of education sector reformation, Robert Stepanyan, the chief of Armenian Education Ministry’s unit in charge of programs implementation, said.
YEREVAN, June 12. /ARKA/. The new concept of Armenia’s education policy aims to ensure effectiveness of education sector reformation, Robert Stepanyan, the chief of Armenian Education Ministry’s unit in charge of programs implementation, said Tuesday presenting the project of strategic concept at a conference.
In his words, the project aims to ensure Armenia’s competitiveness with taking into account the country’s peculiarities and resources.
Stepanyan said that a special attention will be paid to sciences, technologies and arts.
He said that the concept’s key principles will bring education in line with national and global values and also will make it available for all citizens.
The conference focused on education was held in Yerevan on Monday and Tuesday by Armenian Education Ministry with USAID support. M.V.-0---
