According to the Seismic Protection Service, the tremor was recorded on September 17 at 12:17 PM local time (08:17 GMT) 3 km southeast of the village of Shoghakat.
The earthquake's epicenter was located at a depth of 10 km. The magnitude of the tremors at the epicenter was 3-4 on the Richter scale.
The earthquake was felt with an intensity of 3-4 on the Richter scale in the villages of Shoghakat, Artanish, Drakhtik, and Jil in the Gegharkunik Province.
