Decisions regarding the granting of pensions in Armenia will now be sent to citizens via SMS, the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia announced on Facebook.

YEREVAN, October 1. /ARKA/. Decisions regarding the granting of pensions in Armenia will now be sent to citizens via SMS, the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia announced on Facebook.

"Decisions made based on applications submitted for the granting of a labor pension will henceforth be automatically sent via SMS to the phone number specified in the application," the agency stated.

The Unified Social Service explained that to view the decision, one must click the link provided in the SMS message and open the notification.

The notification contains information regarding the pension's effective date and amount, the calculated length of service, or the reasons for any refusal to grant the pension.
