Tests for coronavirus conducted today in Armenia have revealed another 12 cases of infection with COVID-19, the press service of the Armenian health ministry reports. The total number of infected citizens has reached 64.

YEREVAN, March 17. /ARKA/. Tests for coronavirus conducted today in Armenia have revealed another 12 cases of infection with COVID-19, the press service of the Armenian health ministry reports. The total number of infected citizens has reached 64.
It is reported that six new cases are connected with the residents of Echmiadzin (as a result - 38), and the remaining six - with workers at industrial facilities (in total - 17), who were initially isolated.
The government of Armenia declared yesterday a 30-day state of emergency to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
In total, 52 cases of COVID-19 are currently registered in Armenia. The first case was confirmed on March 1. Among those infected with a new type of coronavirus are the citizens of Armenia who arrived from Iran and Italy, the people who came into contact with them, and also the citizen of Italy. -0--
