As of 11:00 on Wednesday, December 2, there were 111,795 recovered COVID-19 patients in Armenia, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention says in its daily report.

YEREVAN, December 2. /ARKA/. As of 11:00 on Wednesday, December 2, there were 111,795 recovered COVID-19 patients in Armenia, the National Center for Disease Control and Prevention says in its daily report. 

In total, there are 137,231 confirmed COVID-19 infection cases and 2,228 deaths in the country. This means that 1,264 new infection cases and 35 deaths have been recorded since yesterday’s report. Some 3,375 people have been tested for COVID-19 over one day. 

It has also become known that other 8 coronavirus-positive patients’ died yesterday for other reasons. The total number of such cases is 567.

According to the report, in total, 515,992 tests have been carried out in the country since the beginning of the epidemic. As many as 22,641 patients are being treated now.  

The state of emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic was in force in Armenia for six months - from March 16 to September 11 inclusive. After the parliament passed amendments to the package of relevant laws, the Armenian government introduced quarantine throughout the country for a period of 4 months - until January 11, 2021.

Quarantine implies, in particular, a special regime of entry and exit into the country, the rules of self-isolation, as well as a number of restrictions, including those related to social events, the educational process and economic activities. Individual protection measures must be applied throughout the territory of Armenia, and when you are and move outside your place of residence, you must have an identity document. -0—
