In total, there are 65,460 confirmed COVID-19 infection cases and 1,091 deaths in the country. This means that 766 new infection cases, 10 deaths and 104 recovery cases have been recorded since yesterday’s report. Some 1,722 people have been tested over one day.

The ten people who died yesterday were four women aged 65, 83, 68 and 60 and six men aged 74, 86, 64, 74, 51 and 67, all with chronic diseases.

According to the report, 349,871 people have been tested for the coronavirus since the beginning of the epidemic. As many as 15,845 patients are being treated now.

The state of emergency due to the coronavirus pandemic operated in Armenia for six months - from March 16 to September 11 inclusive. After the parliament passed amendments to the package of relevant laws, the Armenian government introduced quarantine across the country for a period of 4 months - until January 11, 2021.

The quarantine implies a special regime of entry and exit into the country, the rules of self-isolation, as well as a number of restrictions, including those related to social events, the educational process and economic activities. Individual protection measures must be applied all over the territory of Armenia, and when you are outside of your place of residence, you must have an identity document. -0---
