Armenian Apostolic Church leader thanks south Caucasus railways CEO for work

Shevket Shaydullin, CEO of South Caucasus Railways CJSC, who is wrapping up his work in Armenia, met with Armenian Apostolic Church leader, Catholicos Garegin II on Friday, the company’s press office reports.

YEREVAN, February 11. /ARKA/. Shevket Shaydullin, CEO of South Caucasus Railways CJSC, who is wrapping up his work in Armenia, met with Armenian Apostolic Church leader, Catholicos Garegin II on Friday, the company’s press office reports.

Shaydullin thanked the Catholicos for support provided to him.

Garegin II, in return, expressed gratitude to the CEO for his contribution to restoration of Armenian churches.

South Caucasus Railways, a 100-percent subsidiary of Russian Railways, runs Armenian Railway.

Armenian Railways was handed over to the South Caucasus Railways on February 13, 2008 for 30-year concession management with a right to prolong the management term for other 10 years. -0--

More than 7 thousand Armenian citizens received "social credits" for $1.7 mln
