YEREVAN, August 17. / ARKA /. Armenian rescuers managed to prevent a suicide attempt in the village of Shahumyan in the northern region of Lori, the press service of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Management said today.

According to the report, a 57 year-old resident of the village poured gasoline on him and tired to set himself on fire. However, rescuers succeeded to persuade the man against his intention, the report says.- 0—
