The average gross monthly salary in Armenia increased by 6.4% in 2024 compared to 2023, amounting to 287,172 drams, according to the National Statistical Committee.

YEREVAN, January 31. /ARKA/. The average gross monthly salary in Armenia increased by 6.4% in 2024 compared to 2023, amounting to 287,172 drams, according to the National Statistical Committee.

Meanwhile, in December 2024, compared to December 2023, this figure was up 6.2%, and compared to November of the same year up 21.5%.

During the reporting period, salaries in the public sector amounted to 224,804 drams with an increase of 7.9%, and in the private sector – to 311,848 drams (an increase of 5.7%).

The report notes that all indicators are calculated based on the income tax and social payments provided by the State Revenue Committee. ($1 - 397.35 drams) -0-
