YEREVAN, March 18. /ARKA/. Natural gas supplies to Armenia from Russia through Georgia have been temporarily suspended, reports “Gazprom-Armenia” CJSC.

"Due to repair and restoration work on the Kazakh-Sugaramo section of the North Caucasus-Transcaucasia transit gas pipeline, gas supply to Armenia will be temporarily suspended from 09:00 to 18:00 on March 18. During this period, uninterrupted and reliable gas supply to consumers in Armenia will be ensured without restrictions, using internal reserves and additional volumes of natural gas supplied from Iran," the gas transportation company stated.

“Gazprom Armenia” CJSC is a 100% subsidiary of the Russian energy holding Gazprom. It is the sole supplier of natural gas from Russia to Armenia (for domestic consumption), delivered in transit through Georgia.
