Yerevan’s court decided to leave General Manvel Grigoryan in detention, Armenia’s media reported on Wednesday.
YEREVAN, June 20. /ARKA/. Yerevan’s court decided to leave General Manvel Grigoryan in detention, Armenia’s media reported on Wednesday.
The Armenian National Assembly stripped General Manvel, who was also an MP before yesterday, of immunity from prosecution.
Later, the prosecutor general’s office filed a motion to the court asking it to authorize his pretrial detention.
According to the office, there is enough evidence for charging Manvel Grigoryan with illegal purchasing, selling and keeping guns and armament, including explosives and with gross embezzlement. --0---
