YEREVAN, October 24. /ARKA/. A few days ago, doctors from the United States of Armenian origin sent humanitarian aid to Armenia, donating among other medical supplies, a computer tomography scanner, the Ministry of Health of Armenia reports.
“Taking into account that the Kapan medical center currently provides medical care mainly to soldiers wounded in the Artsakh war, the ministry decided to provide the computer tomography scanner to the Kapan medical center,” the ministry said.
It noted that the tomography scanner will in the future serve the population of the region for research and accurate treatment.
Since the morning of September 27, when Azerbaijan attacked Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) with support from Turkish armed forces and mercenaries from the Middle East, Armenian armed forces have killed about 6,539 Azerbaijani soldiers, having wounded also many thousands. They have also destroyed 588 battle tanks and armored vehicles, 4 MLRS Smerch and Uragan, 4 MLRS TOS-1A, 202 UAVs, 16 helicopters and 24 aircraft.
According to the official data of the Armenian side, while repelling the enemy's aggression, 915 Armenian servicemen have been killed and several hundred wounded. Azerbaijani shelling have also killed 38 civilians in Nagorno-Karabakh and another 118 have been wounded.
