YEREVAN, May 23. /ARKA/. MBA SBS Swiss Business School plans to increase enrollment of the students in Armenia, the President of the School Bert Wolfs said Wednesday in the news conference at Novosti press center. 

On Tuesday thirteen students were awarded graduation diplomas of the Swiss Business School and the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University (RAU), who majored in marketing and banking.

Mr. Wolfs said that they are determined to make the education available to more students in Armenia in the nearest future.
In this context, it is also important to improve the teaching methods of local teachers following new methodology of interactive education. 

“One fourth of our academic staff in Armenia are professors fr om Switzerland, who teach disciplines related to international aspects, and Armenian specialists focus on skills and knowledge required by local market,” he said. 

The president also mentioned that the business school offers majors in marketing, finance and banking, international management, tourism management, human resources management, entrepreneurship. The tuition for local students is 6,800 euros ( 8,700 euros abroad). 

“Specialists who received their degree from us, have an opportunity to improve their positions in companies, wh ere they work while introducing new products and ideas increasing revenues of their companies,” he added. 

Wolfs also underlined that Armenia faces difficulties with logistics what, in turn, rises expenses of many companies. And the biggest problem is a lack of ethical rules and standards in business management, he pointed our. 

Collaboration Agreement between RAU and Swiss Business School was signed on March 21, 2009 in Yerevan.

SBS is a prestigious business school located in Zurich that focuses on launching new structures abroad. SBS is accredited in Switzerland, Latvia, USA, Germany and Slovenia, and has business schools in Argentina, Russia and Kazakhstan. 

The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration.

Russian-Armenian University’s business school was founded in 2008 and is intended for those wishing to obtain a master's degree, or improve their skills. SBS currently offers an MBA program in Armenia in marketing, finance and banking. After completing the program graduates receive original certificates of Swiss Business School and RAU Business School. -0-
