Minister records good achievements by Armenian trauma surgeons and orthopedists

Armenian doctors have made serious achievements in traumatology and orthopedics, minister of healthcare Armen Muradyan said.
YEREVAN, May 22. /ARKA/. Armenian doctors have made serious achievements in traumatology and orthopedics, minister of healthcare Armen Muradyan said.
‘Back in 1976 the bone matrix was used for the first time in the Scientific Center for Traumatology and Orthopedics. Today its updated version is widely used all over the world’, the minister said at the opening of IV congress of Armenian traumatologists and orthopedists. The congress is attended also by international experts.
Since the 90ies of the last century great contribution was made by Armenia’s association of traumatologists and orthopedists that is a member of the European association of orthopedists today, according to the minister.
The congress is attended by the head of the ministry of health scientific center for traumatology and orphopedics Vachagan Ayvazyan, rector of the Yerevan State Medical University Mikhail Narimanyan, member of the standing parliament commission on health, motherhood and childhood Ara Babloyan, president of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Armenia Levon Mkrtchyan and others.
Head of Russian miners’ health protection center Vahram Aghajanyan said this kind of events is important for development of orthopedics and traumatology. –0--
