YEREVAN, August 2. /ARKA/. An earthquake occurred in the border zone between Armenia and Georgia, 16 km northeast of the village of Bavra, Armenia’s Rescue Service reported on Friday.
The earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 and a depth of 10 km was recorded on August 2 at 10:44 AM local time (06:44 GMT) by the seismic network of Armenia’s Emergency Ministry.
The earthquake was felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh, Ghazanchi, Ashotsk, and Musaelyan in the Shirak province.
