More than 4,400 property sale and purchase deals concluded in Armenia in June

YEREVAN, August 8. /ARKA/. Some 4,498 property deals were concluded in Armenia in June this year, up from 4,408 deals concluded in May, the National Statistical Committee reported.
It said the largest number of deals were concluded in the capital Yerevan - 1,189 (26.4% of the total) and the lowest number - 98 (2.2%) - in Vayots Dzor province.
In June 2023 foreign citizens concluded 149 property deals in Armenia. One hundred deals were made by citizens of Russia, 17 by citizens of USA and European countries, 4 by citizens of Iran, 2 by citizens of CIS countries (except Russia) and 9 by citizens of other countries.
Some 84 of these deals were concluded in Yerevan and the least in Syunik province (one transaction). There were no transactions in Vayots Dzor.
At the same time, foreign citizens made 275 deals in Armenia to sell their property - 198 were made by citizens of Russia, 22 by citizens of the USA, 20 by citizens of European countries, 16 by citizens of CIS countries (except the Russian Federation), 7 by citizens of Iran, 12 deals were made by citizens of other countries.-0-
