A national center for biodiversity and environmental education will be established in Armenia on the basis of the Yerevan Botanic Garden, the press service of the Ministry of Nature Protection said today.

YEREVAN, January 20. /ARKA/. A national center for biodiversity and environmental education will be established in Armenia on the basis of the Yerevan Botanic Garden, the press service of the Ministry of Nature Protection said today.
"We want to have a modern research center, which in addition to scientific activities, will serve also to inform public and organize recreation. We think that the project will benefit also the companies that will be involved in the process,' Nature Protection Minister Artsvik Minasyan is quoted as saying in a press release.
The program will be implemented within three years, according to the ministry.-0-
