Pashinyan: 38 food trucks arrive in Armenia

Some 38 food trucks arrived in Armenia on March 18, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting on Thursday. “We have a good supply of food, for example, sugar for 201 days, chicken for 64 days and sunflower oil for 37 days. As many as 38 trucks, with food including 18 tons of sunflower oil, 2020 tons of sugar, 145 tons of wheat, 20 tons of chickpeas and so on arrived in Armenia on March 18," he said.

YEREVAN, March 19. /ARKA/. Some 38 food trucks arrived in Armenia on March 18, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a government meeting on Thursday. “We have a good supply of food, for example, sugar for 201 days, chicken for 64 days and sunflower oil for 37 days. As many as 38 trucks, with food including 18 tons of sunflower oil, 2020 tons of sugar, 145 tons of wheat, 20 tons of chickpeas and so on arrived in Armenia on March 18," he said.
Pashinyan said various seeds, frozen meat, and potatoes were also delivered. The premier asked and received from the head of the State Committee for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCEC) Gegham Gevorgyan information relating to fuel supply.
“We have stocks of gasoline for at least three months, not counting imports, and diesel - for a month and a half. We also produce 12,760 liters of alcohol daily,” he said.
There are 115 confirmed cases of infection with COVID-19 in Armenia now. The Armenian government declared a state of emergency in the country from March 16 to April 14 in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19. -0---
