Service pension in Armenia will grow in 2015 by AMD 5,000, on average, Pavel Safaryan, the first deputy finance minister, said Tuesday while discussing the 2015 draft budget with the National Assembly’s committees.

YEREVAN, October 28. /ARKA/. Service pension in Armenia will grow in 2015 by AMD 5,000, on average, Pavel Safaryan, the first deputy finance minister, said Tuesday while discussing the 2015 draft budget with the National Assembly’s committees. 

“The government did find funds to increase service pensions by 14% (AMD 5,000, on average) amid quite adverse macroeconomic things,” he said.  

It means an average pension will rise to AMD 41,000 from the present AMD 36,000. 

Safaryan also said that servicemen will have their pensions increased to average AMD 61,447. 

In the 2015 draft government budget, social spending is planned at AMD 385 billion – AMD 23.5 billion more than in 2014. 

Revenue is projected at AMD 1 trillion 221 billion, spending at AMD 1 trillion 337 billion and deficit at AMD 116.6 billion. ($1 – AMD 409.29). --0------
