YEREVAN, March 11. /ARKA/. Armenia's National Weather Service said rains and snow in mountainous areas are expected in most of the country on March 11-13, and in some parts on March 14-15. In the mountains snowstorms are possible with low horizontal visibility.

Western winds with gusts up to 2-5 m/s are expected on March 11-13. In some parts the winds are likely to speed up to 15-20 m/s. The air temperature on March 12-15 will gradually drop by 6-8 degrees.

The coldest day is forecast in the Shirak province on Monday overnight and in the mountains of Aragatsotn with temperatures dropping to 14 degrees below zero.

In the capital Yerevan, occasional rains are expected on March 11-12 and March 13, a thunderstorm is possible on March 11. On March 14-15 there is a small chance of weak and short precipitation. In the afternoon of March 11, a strong wind with gusts up to 14-18 m/s is possible.

On Friday afternoon, the air in the Armenian capital will warm up to 9-11 degrees, and in the next four days the thermometer will fluctuate between 3-5 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, Monday and Tuesday overnight the temperatures will drop to 1-3 degrees below zero. -0-
