YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. Temperature monitoring is mandatory for all Armenian school students and kindergarten children to prevent the spread of flu and ARVI. The children’s temperature will be measured at the entrance to the school or kindergarten building to protect healthy children from communicating with those who are sick.

According to the Ministry of Education, this decision was prompted by an increase in the rate of acute respiratory diseases registered in recent days and applies to both public and private educational institutions.

Anti-epidemic measures started on January 9, the first day after the winter break for 3rd-12th graders (second half-year for 1st and 2nd graders will start on January 22nd). --0--
