Ten people die from Covid-19 in Armenia past week

Armenian health authorities recorded 2,142 new cases of coronavirus from September 12 to 18, down from 2,575 new cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health said today.

YEREVAN, September 19. /ARKA/. Armenian health authorities recorded 2,142 new cases of coronavirus from September 12 to 18, down from 2,575 new cases recorded a week earlier, the Ministry of Health said today.<br>

It said during the reporting week, 10 people died from COVID-19 (seven people died during the previous week).
</p>
<p>
According to the ministry, 6,486 PCR tests were performed on September 12-18 and 2,528 infected people recovered. As many as 3,014 Covid-19 infected people are still undergoing treatment.

During the whole period of the pandemic some 441,444 cases of Covid -19 were confirmed in Armenia and 428,059 of the infected people recovered. The death toll from the disease stands now at 8,679.-0-
