Weather forecasters warn of strong winds in Yerevan and Armenian regions

YEREVAN, March 6. /ARKA/. Winds are expected to get stronger in the capital Yerevan today and some parts of the country because of the cyclone passing through the territory of Armenia, the National Weather Service reported.
It said the wind speed in Yerevan, Armavir and Ararat regions will accelerate to 17-20 m/sec, and in Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Gegharkunik, Aragatsotn, Vayots Dzor, Kotayk, Syunik and Artsakh – to 27-32 m/sec.
Rains are expected in some parts of Armenia during the day on March 6 and in most regions on March 7. There will be no precipitation on March 8-10.
Short showers are also expected in Yerevan on March 6 and in the afternoon on March 7. The daytime temperature will reach 18-20C today, and drop to 13-15C tomorrow. --0--
