Yerevan Council of Elders discusses price of one trip at 150 AMD and extension of unlimited packages

YEREVAN, January 31. /ARKA/. Yerevan Vice Mayor Suren Grigoryan presented a draft resolution setting the cost of a single ticket for public transport at 150 drams until January 1, 2026. Additionally, according to the resolution, citizens who purchase unlimited monthly, three-month, or annual packages between January 1 and February 28 will receive an extra month of travel for free.
During a meeting of the Yerevan Council of Elders, Grigoryan expressed confidence that after this period, Yerevan residents will be offered more favorable conditions than the 150 drams per ride.
About the Unified Ticket System
Since January 1, 2025, Yerevan has implemented a unified ticket system, which means cash payments are no longer accepted on buses, trolleybuses, and the metro. Several payment methods are available: paper single-use tickets with a QR code (from TelCell terminals), a mobile app, permanent travel cards, and bank cards.
Starting February 1, with the full launch of the unified ticket system, several fare packages will be available:
- 280 (300) drams - for the "90 minutes" package (3 trips)
- 880 (900) drams - daily package (8 trips)
- 4800 (5000) drams - for the 7-day package (30 trips)
- 8800 (9000) drams - for the 30-day package (unlimited rides)
- 23,600 (24,000) drams - for the 90-day package (unlimited rides)
- 88,800 (90,000) drams - for the 365-day package (unlimited rides)
- 2200 (2100) drams - for the "10 trips" package (multi-use)
- 480 (500) drams - for a single trip to Zvartnots Airport
The first figure represents the cost of online tickets, and the figure in parentheses is the price for a physical travel card. By purchasing any of these packages, citizens can use all types of public transport — buses, metro, and trolleybuses.
