Yerevan to reconstruct 6 polyclinics and 32 kindergartens under energy efficiency program

The Armenian government has approved today a draft law on ratification of a financial agreement, signed earlier with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to reduce electricity consumption by a set of public buildings in the capital Yerevan as well as improve their seismic safety, cut carbon dioxide emissions and extend the life of the buildings.

YEREVAN, January 18. /ARKA/. The Armenian government has approved today a draft law on ratification of a financial agreement, signed earlier with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to reduce electricity consumption by a set of public buildings in the capital Yerevan as well as
improve their seismic safety, cut carbon dioxide emissions and extend the life of the buildings.
The cost of the agreement is s 25 million euros. The loan will be used to reconstruct 38 public buildings - 6 polyclinics and 32 kindergartens and build also three new kindergartens --0--.
