YEREVAN, August 16. /ARKA/. Weightlifter Simon Martirosyan (105 kilograms) picked up the first medal for Armenia at Olympics in Rio.
He won the silver by lifting a total of 417 kg, 417 kg (190+227).
Martirosyan came after Ruslan Nurudinov from Uzbekistan, who set an Olympic record with a total weight of 431 kg.
