School of Tourism Management Vatel will start admission of students from September, said the Chairman of the Union of Tourism Operators of Armenia, Rector of Tourism Institute Robert Minasyan on Thursday.
YEREVAN, January 27. /ARKA/. School of Tourism Management Vatel will start admission of students from September, said the Chairman of the Union of Tourism Operators of Armenia, Rector of Tourism Institute (branch of Russian International Tourism Academy) Robert Minasyan on Thursday.
In December 2010, Armenian Institute of Tourism (AIT) signed cooperation agreement with the institute Vatel and Armenia became 27th regional centre of international tourism program Vatel. Study by the program “VATEL-AIT” will start from September 1, 2011 and the graduates will receive diplomas of France and Armenia.
“We are ready to accept 15 students which will be taught by new educational program agreed by the French institute”, said Minasyan.
Citizens of Armenia will pay 2 thousand EURO, citizens of CIS countries – 4 thousand and citizens of other countries - minimum 4 thousand EURO. The payment is less than in France where it makes 10-12 thousand EURO annually.
Students will study English and French languages and can study on the account of the institute in any country where Vatel center exists.
Institute Vatel is the best institute in France and the second in Europe. The School of Hotel and Tourism Business Management awarded World Prize of Hospitality in the category “The best learning program”.
Institute VATEL is a member of many international organizations - EURHODIP, FQF, EURHOFA, I.H.R.A., C.H.R.I.E., A.D.I.R.H., AMFORHT. Institute VATEL has its own four-star hotel and restaurants allowing the students to create closer relations with the sphere they are going to work.
The first institute of Vatel was established by Alain Seban in 1981 in Paris. It got its name in honor of François Vatel – the manager of duke Konde during the times of Ludovic XIV.
The branch of Russian International Academy of Tourism was established in 2002. The following subjects are being taught in the institute - “Hospitality Management”, “International Tourism Management”, “Guide Management”, “Animation Management in Tourism”, “Sport Tourism Management” and “Management of International Tourism and Business-Translation”. –0—
