Some 1.6 million foreign tourists visited Armenia in the first 8 months of 2023, the Economy Ministry said.
YEREVAN, September 7. /ARKA/. Some 1.6 million foreign tourists visited Armenia in the first 8 months of 2023, the Economy Ministry said.
Some 1.04 million tourists visited the country during the same period of 2022, and 1.67 million tourists visited the country during the whole 2022. More than 328 thousand tourists visited the country in August, 2023 alone.
Some 51% of tourists were from Russia, 163, 000 were from Georgia and 96,000 were from Iran.-0-
