YEREVAN, April 29. /ARKA/. Armenia should become an attractive tourist destination for Polish citizens, president of Polish-Armenian trade and commerce chamber Zbignev Shmurlo told ARKA Agency.

“We’re not only doing business; we will be showing Armenian culture to ordinary Poles, non-Armenians living in Poland, so that they know where it is situated, what history it has, that there are lots of magnificent monuments here and that they could come and spend their vacations here”, Shmurlo said. 

He also said that a special Dialogue of Cultures institute was opened at the chamber for this purpose one and a half months ago. The institute will be providing information about everyday life in Armenia, its economy, politics and history.

Polish-Armenian trade and commerce chamber opened two years ago comprises of 80 entrepreneurs. In addition, on April 25 a memorandum was signed to establish an Armenian-Polish trade and commercial chamber for cooperation between the countries. -0-
