YEREVAN, July 13. /ARKA/ Spain has resumed issuance of visas for tourists from Armenia, the Armenian Embassy in Spain said.

"Starting from July 14, the Spanish visa center BLS International Armenia, operating in Yerevan, resumes issuing entry visas for tourists wishing to leave Armenia for Spain," the Embassy said in a Facebook post.

It said that for a trip to Spain, vaccination against COVID-19 is not required. Visitors should present a negative PCR test.

On July 9, the government of Armenia extended the coronavirus quarantine for another six months until December 20, 2021.

The nationwide quarantine was first imposed on September 11, 2020 replacing the state of emergency that was declared on March 16 to stop the spread of coronavirus. -0-

117,000 tourists visited Armenia in February: Tourist flow decreased

In February 2025, Armenia was visited by 117,372 tourists, compared to 127,241 tourists in February 2024, according to the Tourism Committee.
