Sponsor to build French quarter in Armenian village

A sponsor from Europe intends to build a French quarter in the village of Yenokavan, which is in the Armenian province of Tavush, the Russian-language Golos Armenii (Voice of Armenia) reported quoting Panorama.am.

YEREVAN, June 8. /ARKA/. A sponsor from Europe intends to build a French quarter in the village of Yenokavan, which is in the Armenian province of Tavush, the Russian-language Golos Armenii(Voice of Armenia) reported quoting Panorama.am.
The sponsor’s name is Bernard Jean, a Frenchman, who first visited Armenia back in 1988 after the devastating Spitak earthquake.
He said he had been engaged in various charity projects for many years and has been also cooperating with Armenian ministry of emergency situations. He also says that he and his son simply fell in love with Yenokavan.
‘The goal of this project is to create a French quarter in Yenokavan. The quarter, to be patterned from a French village, will have a spa, an outdoor heated pool and other facilities. -0-
