The Ministry of Emergency Situations said on February 15 at 23:31 local time the Seismic Protection Service recorded an earthquake (aftershock) of magnitude 2.0 some 4 kilometers north-east of the village of Shorzha in the Gegharkunik region. It was the third tremor recorded on in one day in the country. The hearth was located at a depth of 10 km, the shock strength at the epicenter was 2-3 points.
The earthquake (aftershock) was felt in the villages of Shoghakat and Chambarak with 2-3 point force.
Earlier on Monday, at 22:27 local time, an earthquake (aftershock) of magnitude 3.3 was recorded 5 kilometers north-east of the village of Shorzha in the Gegharkunik region.
