Armenian Airlines launches Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan direct flights
YEREVAN, June 8. /ARKA/. The Armenian Airlines carrier is launching Yerevan-Istanbul-Yerevan direct flights.
The airline told Arka news agency that the first flight is scheduled for June 30. It said also that sale of tickets has already begun. The airline will operate two flights a week: on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The Civil Aviation Committee said Armenian Airlines was granted a permit for the flights according to the established procedures.
Armenian Airlines, established in 2022, is based at Yerevan's Zvartnots International Airport. The airline’s major destinations are in Russia. It operates flights to Moscow (Sheremetyevo airport), Sochi, Vladikavkaz and Samara. In the longer term the carrier plans to launch flights to Egypt, the Middle East, Europe and Asia. --0-
